Review of Detartrine (Septodont)
Detartrine is a fine grit ready to use polishing paste. This consistency and texture allows for both ease of handling for the clinician, which I have found to be accurate and better acceptance by patient, as I have observed with my patients. It can be easily applied on to the tooth surface that requires polishing and also is easily rinsed off after completion of polishing without leaving any residue.
Though it’s costlier than other commonly available polishing pastes, it’s properties makes it a must have in your operatory.
