Pros:

Review of Predator – Crown removal bur
I have used many metal cutting burs of many famous brands and have found Predator – Crown removal bur to be the best amongst them.
The biggest problem with metal cutting burs is fracture of the head. Many burs of other brands are unable to survive even a single metal cutting procedure. Predator – Crown removal bur, due to it’s single carbide construction is able to reduce fracture of the bur head to a great extent.
In this context, I would say, there have been times when I am forced to change the bur due to cutting inefficiency ( after cutting through multiple crowns), rather than due to fracture.
Similarly, it’s flute design reduces the bounce of the bur, giving a smooth operation (increases the life of your handpiece cartridge) and increases comfort to the patient too.
Also the flute design of Predator – Crown removal bur improves the cutting efficiency. This allows you to use the bur in multiple crowns.
TIP: Always peel the back label to remove the bur. This improves the life of the bur.
