Review of Waldent Contra-Angled Micromotor Handpiece (W-125)
The price of Waldent Contra-Angled Micromotor Handpiece (W-125) will be an attractive proposition when you are searching for a contra-angled handpiece.
If you have used NSK, KaVo or even a Marathon handpiece, this won’t feel much different in the beginning.
The noise levels though low, is still higher than the above mentioned competitors. Similarly, the ‘smoothness’ of the cartridge will feel less compared to others.
As polishing paste is a big enemy of the handpiece, I prefer using a low cost handpiece for just polishing. This can be even your stand-by handpiece for other uses like post space preparation. If cost prevents you from buying a NSK, KaVo or Marathon handpiece, Waldent Contra-Angled Micromotor Handpiece (W-125) can be an ideal handpiece for your practice.
