Review of Surfasept S.A.
Septodont has produced a quality product for use in dentistry in the form of Surfasept S.A. It’s unique combination of ispropyl alcohol and chlorhexidine gluconate provides both complete and fast surface disinfection.
It should be used between 2 appointments, specially when no aerosol procedure is performed and the surfaces are not soiled.
Soap water and hypochlorite solution or chlorine dioxide solution should be used to clean soiled surfaces.
P.S.: Surfasept S.A. is not listed on either Septodont (Global) or Septodont (India) website but is listed on a fake looking Septodont India website. Septodont representatives do promote the product in India. I have written to Septodont for official clarification. Will update if and when I hear from them.
P.P.S (3.7.20): Mr Shinde, Director & GM, Septodont India has clarified that, it was an IT mistake and hence, Surfasept S.A. has been listed back on the website.
